This design was inspired by both my love for scrappy quilts and a draw I feel to my dad’s farming l childhood. I love hearing stories of my dad growing up on a farm (with no indoor plumbing), and imagining what life was like. I picture this quilt being in his childhood farmhouse.

Once you make a couple if the blocks, it's sort of an auto pilot job from there! I finagled the fabric requirements and figured out how to use a 30-piece fat quarter bundle for the lap size and am able to get a scrappy binding from them as well (with some large remnants left over).
